Do not miss:

Old Phuket Town. Chinese immigrants in the 19th century, they were lured by the tin mines in the past, left behind a series of extraordinary Sino-Portuguese buildings along roads and Dibu Thalang.

3.Krabi. Krabi province in the central part of southern Thailand.
Krabi Town is situated near the mouth of the River Krabi. Krabi Resort is located between a curtain of palms on the beach of Ao Phranang. This is a wonderful place to be if you try the natural beauty that surrounds you absorb.

The new smoking ban in bars and restaurants in Thailand force and from what I’ve observed, the law is treated like any other law in Thailand. I mean, some schools have created smoke, others say you have to smoke outside the restaurant or bar, and others are completely ignoring the law. If implemented, the smokers a fine of 2,000 baht (about $ 62 dollars) and public managers will be fined up to 20,000 baht (over $ 600 dollars).

This will force bars and restaurants to enforce the law on their property. If the only penalty imposed smoking ban, the owners of the factory completely ignored. Thailand has banned smoking in hospitals, public buildings, stations and for some years. This is just an extension of an existing law. It is a bit stricter no smoking within 50 meters from the door of the establishment. The law also provides penalties for smoking and one bar and a restaurant.

As a smoker, I was a little ‘irritated initially on the right, but the time has elapsed, it is really a big problem. If I quit smoking is not a big problem. I am currently a visiting Khon Kaen, Thailand and nearly every night. One of my favorites, ever imposed a smoking area near the toilet. Smile restaurant allowed me to smoke at the table. Restaurant and Bu-Ba-Sa is a small covered area to smoke in the back of the restaurant. If you set up a smoking area, use them. If you go outside to smoke, as Kit’z Cafe, just sitting at the table and your cigarette. So if you plan to visit land of smile, and you smoke a cigarette, be sure to ask if it is okay to smoke before lighting.

While in a foreign country, a U.S. citizen is subject to that country’s laws and regulations, which sometimes differ significantly from those of the United States and can not afford the protections available to the individual under U.S. law. The penalties for violating the law is stricter than in the United States for similar offenses. Persons violating Thai laws, even unknowingly, may be expelled, arrested or put in prison.

Thais love the king at the top, and is a serious offense to critical or defamatory remarks about him. Intentionally tearing or destroying Thai bank notes, the image of the king to wear, can be considered a crime, as you can spit on or otherwise defiling an official uniform regalia together.

The Thai government has publicly stated that the use of Thai territory not tolerate as a base by groups trying to overthrow the governments of neighboring countries to destabilize. Many other Americans suspected of advocating the armed overthrow of other governments are “blacklisted” from entering the country. Americans should be aware that attempts to overthrow foreign governments by force may violate U.S. law and the Thai law.

Penalties for possession, use or trafficking in illegal drugs in Thailand are severe. Convicted offenders can expect long prison sentences in harsh conditions and often heavy fines as well. Thailand has a death penalty for serious drug offenses, and has executed convicted traffickers. The Embassy of the United States often the arrest of American citizens for minor drug offenses, not learning especially in southern Thailand, until several days after the incident.

Participation in illegal sexual conduct with children or child pornography in a foreign country is a crime punishable in the United States. Thai police occasionally raid discos, bars, nightclubs or in search of underage customers and drug addicts. During the raid, usually checks the IDs of all customers in the establishment, and every person a urine sample to check for drugs. Foreigners are not exempt from these checks, and anyone whose urine tests positive for drugs is arrested and charged.
