The new smoking ban in bars and restaurants in Thailand force and from what I’ve observed, the law is treated like any other law in Thailand. I mean, some schools have created smoke, others say you have to smoke outside the restaurant or bar, and others are completely ignoring the law. If implemented, the smokers a fine of 2,000 baht (about $ 62 dollars) and public managers will be fined up to 20,000 baht (over $ 600 dollars).
This will force bars and restaurants to enforce the law on their property. If the only penalty imposed smoking ban, the owners of the factory completely ignored. Thailand has banned smoking in hospitals, public buildings, stations and for some years. This is just an extension of an existing law. It is a bit stricter no smoking within 50 meters from the door of the establishment. The law also provides penalties for smoking and one bar and a restaurant.
As a smoker, I was a little ‘irritated initially on the right, but the time has elapsed, it is really a big problem. If I quit smoking is not a big problem. I am currently a visiting Khon Kaen, Thailand and nearly every night. One of my favorites, ever imposed a smoking area near the toilet. Smile restaurant allowed me to smoke at the table. Restaurant and Bu-Ba-Sa is a small covered area to smoke in the back of the restaurant. If you set up a smoking area, use them. If you go outside to smoke, as Kit’z Cafe, just sitting at the table and your cigarette. So if you plan to visit land of smile, and you smoke a cigarette, be sure to ask if it is okay to smoke before lighting.
